EASTCOAST CAD/CAM EXECUTIVE SELECTED FOR MCAA ADVANCED LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE

Marlborough, MA (Oct 27, 2011) – David Quigley, EastCoast CAD/CAM Chief Operating Officer, has just returned from the first week of the Advanced Leadership Institute (ALI) conference, facilitated by the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA). Joining David were senior executives from MCAA Member companies (mechanical, service, or plumbing, large or small) who have, or will have chief executive responsibilities for their company, or a significant business unit within the company.

David was specifically asked to attend this year’s institute as the only manufacturer representative because of his industry commitment and his continued efforts to foster a transparent relationship between MCAA member companies and the industry. He was also selected as EastCoast’s representative because of the company’s continued commitment to provide advanced, unparalleled, technology to the MEP contractor community.

The program is being hosted at the world-renowned Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. According to David, the program focuses on emerging technologies, understanding business strategies, leadership training, financial frameworks and building effective and successful organizations. “The most valuable aspect of the first week was sharing stories and experiences with so many incredibly talented smart people,” David explained. “The process will be without a doubt highlighted by the many personal relationships that will be built through this shared learning experience,” he continued. David returns to the final week of the conference in the first week of November.

A graduate of the Whitmore School of Business and Economics, Dave also spent over 18 years as a union plumber in his family's mechanical contracting business. He has worked extensively as a software engineer for companies such as Microsoft® and Digital Equipment Corporation. As Chief Operating Officer at EastCoast, David is responsible for developing EastCoast's overall product and business strategies.
