Building Information Modeling (BIM) and EastCoast CAD/CAM
If you are planning to attend the upcoming Autodesk University, this coming December, I would like to invite you to join us on Wednesday December 2nd from 5pm - 6pm to see the latest technology developments that unites Autodesk MEP Engineering solutions with the latest fabrication solutions from EastCoast CAD/CAM. Please follow this email link to register to attend.
If you can not attend but are interested to better understand EastCoast's BIM product direction and how well it's aligned with Autodesk, you are welcome to join me upon my return from Autodesk University for a Web presentation the following week, Tuesday, December 8 at 11:00 am EST (e.g. 8:00 am PST).
Revit and AutoCAD MEP adoption is growing and EastCoast's fabrication solution is a big part of that growth within the contractor market. EastCoast and our employees are committed one customer at a time to make sure that your adoption and usage is a success.
As always, we remain open to your feedback, with suggestions and comments about our products and our services are welcome.

Hope to see some of you at Autodesk University 2009

Tech Tip from Matt's desk

Tip FAB#18 - Fabrication for AutoCAD MEP 2010 Catalog Auto-Load
With the release of Fabrication for MEP 2010 V2 users have the option to have your catalogs automatically load when you open MEP. This prevents users from possibly forgetting to load the Catalog, and not having the EastCoast Manufacturer parts available at the start of your session.
Simply check the box labeled, "Auto Load" from the ECTools tab under Options.
To get to options, Click the Big A in the top left corner of MEP, and choose the Options button. You can also type, "op" on the command line and hit Enter. When the options window opens, scroll all the way to the left, and click on the ECTools tab. You will then be able to check the "Auto-Load' check box. That last catalog that was loaded will always be the catalog that auto loads when MEP starts.
