Announcing...

The Availability of New EastCoast CAD and CAM Software

EastCoast CAD/CAM is proud to announce the synchronized release of three Version 2.0 products from EastCoast;  Fabrication for AutoCAD MEP Piping; AutoCAD MEP Duct; and DuctMaker CAM Fitting Sofrtware.  The new software products have been RTM (Released To Manufacturing) and are being bundled into a single EastCoast CAD/CAM Installation CD.

Customers who have purchased and have an active subscription will be receiving the new products as they are released from manufacturing in next few days and weeks. Those companies and individuals who participated in the AutocAD MEP and DuctMaker Beta Programs will be the first to receive them.

In addition, I would like to mention that if you are an active licensed user and would like to receive your Installation CD sooner, please feel free to contact your sales representative.

It's hard to describe in words just how excited we are with our Version 2.0 software releases. I'd like to share a few comments collected last week from our beta testers:

"The platform is a mistake eliminator."

"I love the annotation in terms of when you change the scale of the drawings.  It gives you lots more flexibility."

"There is so much potential for what this will mean to our workflow and business"

"The tool has been working well. On a 1-10 scale, I'd give it an 8 or a 9.  I'm using it on a real project and it's definitely getting the job done."

"Most importantly, we are still walking down the path of BIM and we're using this tool to get us there. We want to be recognized as a leader in BIM."

"As a company we are committed to the platform."

"Your version 2.0 Fabrication for AutoCAD MEP has so much more potential than what we're using now and most importantly, where we want to get to.  On a 1 - 10 I'd give your program an 8; while I'd give most every other mechanical software application a 5 at best."

As always, we remain open to your feedback, suggestions and comments both about our services and products.

Kind regards,
Dave

A few seats left - next week's BIM workshop in Chicago for Contractors

Summer Workshop

There are a handful of slots available for this summer workshop on "A Contractor's Guide to BIM 2009".  The primary goal is to provide an interactive, very personal open forum discussion on how to best implement BIM into your existing process workflow.

You will listen to and ask questions throughout the forum of contractors who lead the field in BIM implementation.  You will join in discussions analyzing what "Best" practices and approaches work and which ones do not.

This is NOT a "Dog and Pony" set of product presentations from EastCoast and Autodesk.  This is a chance to hear real users and contractors from around the world share their stories on how they were successful with BIM.  .

If you would like more information on the workshop or to register, please call 603-672-7880 or email Dave Quigley.
