Letter from David Quigley

August 23, 2011

Dear EastCoast Customer and Friend,

Many of you have already installed or are in the process of installing Version 4.0 of our Design to Fabrication tools. For those of you who have not yet done so, you'll find a summary below of many of the new and very helpful features.

We also have a new customer to welcome, N.B. Kenney, and a new MEP Outsourcing Exchange area on our web site that customers and outsourcing providers can use to find and promote detailing services using that use Design to Fabrication software tools. You can click the MEP Outsourcing link on the top right of EastCoast's Home web page to get to the MEP Exchange discussion area.

I also want to share with all of our Newsletter friends the value and benefits that you'd find on EastCoast's Customer Portal area. The portal contains lots of extremely useful EastCoast reference materials, and Discussion Forums for communicating, asking other users questions, and sharing expert knowledge with other EastCoast users to further your insight while aiding others.

As always, please don't hesitate to contact me with your thoughts and comments.

Best regards,

Dave

EastCoast Welcomes N.B. Kenney

nbkenney logoEastCoast CAD/CAM would like to welcome N.B. Kenney Company, Inc. as a new customer this month. A recognized leader in the Union Mechanical Contracting industry in the Northeast, N.B. Kenney has a long history of working on challenging and complex projects for over 40 years. Currently, they have implemented Version 4 of Design to Fabrication into their design process and will be using it on multiple projects in several locations in Massachusetts, including Harvard University, UMass Lowell, Dartmouth and at several high schools in the region. They chose the EastCoast solution over other options because they recognized that EastCoast has the right set of fabrication tools to support their company's commitment to improved process, quality and safety.

MEP Outsourcing Service Forum

We've heard from many of our customers that they need a place to seek and post outsourcing listings to find the services and employment opportunities they need within the North American MEP industry. If your company is looking for Fabrication for AutoCAD MEP detailers, CAM operators with DuctMaker experience, or MEP Fabrication HVAC system designers with Revit MEP or AutoCAD MEP experience, you can post or check on the MEP Outsource Service Board for new listings. If your company offers outsourcing services and uses EastCoast CAD/CAM software, you can list your services here.

If you need help, post a request for outsourcing...

If your company is currently in need of outsourcing services, you can place a 'want ad' in a new forum post to let the MEP community know what you are looking for. Include details about the type of work, time frame, location or telecommute, and contact information.

If you offer outsourcing services, post a notice to let the community know...

For companies or individuals who offer outsourcing services and have experience with EastCoast CAD/CAM tools, add a new post to the forum to let the MEP community know what you have to offer. Include details such as the type of service you offer, location, travel or telecommute potential, and contact information or website.
