How It Works
Construction estimates are tied directly to real 3D design data, all integrated seamlessly within AutoCAD MEP using Fabrication for AutoCAD MEP. You can determine very easily, using check boxes and type in fields, which type of estimating data to store in the drawing or export for estimating analysis, such as job name, zone, labor factor, floor, phase, and change order. You can also add custom fields you specify.

Apply estimate data directly to construction objects.

The Fabrication Palette provides an Estimate tab that lets you easily organize and work with the estimating data in your project. You can control how the information is presented within a hierarchical structure, select elements to visually inspect or highlight in the drawing, make changes or updates, and attach or export the data.

Because EastCoast Design to Fabrication software tools are built on Open Standards, they are developed with software architecture that encourages integration into a wide berth of other software tools that are part of the overall building services project life-cycle.
